How Does an AeroTherm Heat Pump Work?
The AeroTherm Heat Pump is an energy-efficient heating system that uses heat available in the surrounding air to heat water. Unlike conventional electric heaters that generate heat directly, an AeroTherm Heat Pump transfers heat from the ambient air to water, significantly reducing electricity consumption.
How AeroTherm Heat Pump Works?
- Heat Absorption: The AeroTherm Heat Pump draws ambient air through its evaporator using a high-efficiency fan. The refrigerant inside the system absorbs available heat from the air, even when the outdoor temperature is relatively low.
- Heat Compression: The absorbed heat is carried by the refrigerant to the compressor. The compressor increases the refrigerant’s pressure, raising its temperature to produce high-temperature heat energy.
- Heat Transfer: The high-temperature refrigerant passes through a heat exchanger, where heat is transferred efficiently to the water. The refrigerant and water remain separated throughout the process.
- Hot Water Delivery : The heated water is circulated to a storage tank or directly to the required application. The refrigerant then returns to the evaporator and the cycle repeats continuously.
AeroTherm Heat Pump Working Principle
Ambient Air → Heat Absorption → Refrigerant Compression → Heat Exchange → Hot Water
The AeroTherm Heat Pump continuously repeats this thermodynamic cycle to provide efficient and reliable hot water while using significantly less electrical energy than traditional water-heating methods.
